A Patriotic Debate
Mrs. Potts' 4th grade has been studying about the causes of the American Revolutionary War in class. They were posed the question: Should the colonists become independent from Great Britain? They each picked a side, wrote their speech, and passionately debated in favor of their side. Corresponding hand-made flags added to the excitement. In the end, votes towards fighting for independence slighty edged out not going to war with Great Britain. Go Patriots!
