Upper School

Welcome to the Upper School!

We provide a challenging academic program for college preparatory and advanced students. We give students opportunities to focus on strengths while encouraging their spiritual, leadership, service, athletic and creative gifts. In our close community our faculty come alongside students to foster responsible independence, teamwork and initiative as students prepare for college and beyond.

National Honor Society

The Master's School chapter of the National Honor Society began in 1980. Since that time the organization has engaged its members in actively demonstrating scholarship, leadership, character, and service, the four main tenets of NHS, on campus and in the community.

UConn Early College Experience

The Master's School has partnered with the University of Connecticut to offer college courses to our Upper School students.ECE is a concurrent enrollment program where students earn both high school and college credit for each course. UConn ECE is nationally accredited by the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP).

Student Life

Student Life is a core component of the mission of The Master’s School in which we build a strong sense of community among the students, faculty, and administration.

Opportunities to participate in student life are numerous. Programs include clubs, retreats, performing arts, athletics, and our student life program. Events are designed for and by students to build a strong connection with each other and the school.

The Master’s School is an independent, college-preparatory, non-denominational Christian day school enrolling children in preschool through post-graduate in West Simsbury, CT.
