Civics Class Conducts Mock Trial

Mrs. Frey’s Civics class conducted a Mock Trial to conclude their semester. This was an opportunity for students to put theory into practice. This semester, students have studied the three branches of government: Executive, Legislative, and Judicial. The trial, "U.S. versus Dominique Stephens", was the students' opportunity to exhibit all that they learned about the law in society and how to present a case to a judge and jury. Several underclassmen participated in the experience as jury members and other key court officials while other students and teachers sat in on the trial to witness the excitement.
