The Masters School girls basketball team started the season strong with a thrilling 41-34 victory over Emmanuel Christian Academy. This marked a historic win for the team, as Emmanuel Christian has consistently outperformed Masters in previous years. The game showcased the hard work, dedication, and resilience of the TMS players, who displayed exceptional teamwork and determination on the court.

Leading the charge was Kaylynn Bennett, who delivered a dominant performance with 20 points, 20 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 4 steals, setting the tone for the team’s intensity. Bella Rivard also made a significant impact, contributing 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 steals. Adding to the excitement, Olivia hit a crucial three-pointer during a pivotal moment in the game, swinging the momentum back to TMS and igniting the team’s energy.

With contributions from every player on the court, the girls fought hard on both ends, executing key defensive plays and battling for every loose ball to secure the win. This opening victory is a testament to the growth of the program and the team’s determination to rebuild TMS girls basketball into a competitive force in the NEPSAC league.
