Remembering Dr. J. Stanley Mattson

We celebrate the life of J. Stanley Mattson, Headmaster of The Master’s School from 1979-1983, after his recent passing. While his time leading our school was brief, his impact on the lives he touched was great. Dr. Mattson deeply believed in the mission of The Master’s School and would frequently visit the campus to reconnect with the faculty & staff and ensure that the rich history of our school would not be lost. The Master’s School family will forever be grateful for Stan Mattson and his dedication to furthering the Kingdom of God.

Hear Stan tell the incredible story of how the Lord provided the Westledge campus for The Master’s School at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bOF2U155wM

After moving on from The Master’s School in the mid-80s, Dr. Mattson founded the C.S. Lewis Foundation in California. Learn more about his amazing work there at: https://www.cslewis.org/blog/mattson-tribute/
