The Arts at Master's

Festival of the Arts

This year's Festival of the Arts brought smiles and joy to all who attended. The evening began with a short program in the gymnasium. Highlights included the Leading Tones and Cantante Deo choirs, adorable ballet dancers in Grade 1 through Grade 3, a variety of outstanding instrumentalists, and Grade 5 drama with a guest appearance by David and Goliath, played by 4th grader Declan Landry and 10th grader Zech Duval.

After the performance, families moved outdoors to enjoy dinner at a variety of food trucks and hear pop-up performances by Ms. Norkun's flute class and a chamber choir made up of C.M.E.A. Honor Choir students, led by Mrs. Davis. People were able to peruse the impressive Art Shows throughout the evening. In the Great Hall, Lower School paintings, drawings, pottery, and other art mediums were delightfully displayed by Lower School Art teacher Mrs. Jorgensen.

As families moved down to the Middle and Upper School art building, they were greeted by a whimsical bird sculpture made from natural materials and, upon entering the building, enjoyed amazing sculptures by Ms. Kravitz's sculpture class. Continuing into the inner art rooms, the accomplishments of our art students continued to impress. After Mrs. Gilmore's first year with us, we realize that The Master's School is truly blessed. Walking around the Middle and Upper School art show made it obvious that she is bringing out our students' creativity and giving them extraordinary skills to express themselves.

Bravo and thank you to one and all!
